Pilicode Grama Panchayat is located in Hosdurg Taluk of Kasaragod district and is part of Nileshwaram Block Panchayat. The rich agricultural tradition and natural beauty are the hallmarks of this area. This area is famous for its agricultural advancements, where crops like coconut, kavung, paddy, and pepper are widely cultivated.
Pilicode is a panchayat that has done exemplary work in the fields of education, health, agriculture, social welfare, and sanitation. The panchayat, which won the Swaraj Trophy for the best panchayat (1996), is also proud to have received India's first Nirmal Gram Award (2005). It also received the Kerala State Energy Conservation Award (2016) for its excellent work in the field of energy conservation.
